Most of us are familiar with the term den of thieves. It turns out there are many thieves and all of them don’t come from dens.
Joseph Murphy wrote about two of the biggest in most of our lives when he said: “The “past” and the “future” are the two arch-thieves. If you are indulging in remorse and self-criticism over the past mistakes, the mental agony you are experiencing is the pain of your present thoughts. If you are fearful about the future, you are robbing and stealing from yourself joy, health, happiness and peace of mind.
“Begin to count your blessings now and get rid of the two thieves.”
Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8)
